‘I’m a fat person’
I’m a fat person… The identity of a person with excess weight is “I’m a fat person.” This person may diet and lose weight in the short term, but they will always gain it back. If the identity is that of a fat person, they will regain the weight to fulfil that identity. If you want to change the dis-empowering identity, you have to change the beliefs you have about yourself. Losing weight is not as simple as going on a diet and starting to exercise. 95% of dieters will regain their lost weight within 1-2 years. So if dieting isn’t the answer what is? Our weight is more than a number on the scale. It is about our health, our self image, and the beliefs we have about ourselves. Is something hiding underneath the weight? Anger? Shame? Guilt? A broken heart? Frustration? Not wanting to be noticed? If 95% of dieters gain back the weight so soon, then it isn’t about what we put into our mouth. To be successful at lasting weight loss, the emotional issues have to be addressed. The mis-beliefs need to be deleted on a subconscious level. In order for our lives to change it does require us to get down to the subconscious level. Everything in our life is the result of our beliefs. All of our thoughts and feelings, all of our actions and re actions and all of our decisions are based on our beliefs. If we say I’m going to start a diet tomorrow, tomorrow never comes, so we never start the diet, the mind only understands the present time. So by saying Dec 31st I’m going to start my diet, Dec 31st comes and the body goes oh it’s time to start my diet. And it only understands positive, it doesn’t understand the word no. If we want our lives to change, it is about changing our beliefs. To re-program the mind start by saying positive affirmations everyday like these: I am a slim person I am doing the process now for staying lean. I love being slim and healthy. I am slim, I feel light and free. I am so happy and grateful now that I am losing weight. I have a strong, lean, healthy fit body. EFT Tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique) will allow us to delete the mis-beliefs on a subconscious level. Work with a mentor or coach to find other tools to re-program the subconscious mind so you can change your beliefs about yourself and be able to lose all the weight you want. Raw Healthy Chocolate Delight
Raw Healthy Chocolate Delight 1/2 cup coconut oil 1/4 cup agave syrup 1/4 cup raw cacao powder 1 cup almonds (blended into a meal) 2 tablespoon goji berries1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts 2 tablespoon pumpkin seeds sesame seeds Method After blending almonds and softening coconut oil, add all ingredients together (accept sesame seeds) and blend slowly to well combined, taste test for sweetness, can add extra tablespoon of palm sugar or maple syrup. Put mixture into a lined tin and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Refrigerate for at least an hour before cutting into desired squares. Should last a good week in fridge or a month in freezer.
